Responsibilities
Your tasks will include:
Working mainly with internal production infrastructure of Veeam.
- Manage and maintain Microsoft server infrastructure (AD, DNS, DHCP, NPS, etc) and ensure optimal performance, availability, and security.
Deploy and configure production Windows servers and services.
Administer VMWare virtualization infrastructure (ESXi hosts, vCenters, HA/FT Clusters) and optimize VMs and virtual networks for resource allocation and high availability.
Maintain backup infrastructure (servers, proxies, storage), ensure data integrity, and implement backup plans/policies and DRPs.
Collaborate with other IT departments, providing technical support and assistance on production infrastructure as required.
Conduct hardware capacity planning exercises to accommodate future growth and resource demands.
Troubleshoot hardware and software issues related to servers, storage, and other infrastructure components.
Implement security measures and conduct system audits and vulnerability assessments.
Document system configurations, processes, and procedures for easy reference and knowledge sharing.
Collaborate with vendors and third-party providers for support and assistance.
What we expect from you:
Self-sufficient, proactive and result-oriented.
Good communication skills (in verbal and written language).
Experienced in Microsoft’s Active Directory stack and Windows Server, multi-domain environment.
Experienced in VMware vSphere stack (standalone and vCenter environment).
Experienced in server hardware deployment and maintenance.
Experienced in shell-scripting (powershell, cmd, bash, etc).
Spoken English at least on the Intermediate level.
Will be an advantage:
Experience with Microsoft Azure.
Experience with Veeam Backup solutions.
Experience with high-load and/or high-complexity systems (HCI, HA, FT, etc.).
VMware troubleshooting experience.
Network/Linux administration background.
