Our company is seeking a Data Analytics who loves streamlining of data, constantly searching new ways to improve things, experimenting, learning, sharing and improving to move forward quickly. As the successful candidate you will discover insightful data infrastructure stories and support data analytics & reporting function in both operations and strategic area.

You will conduct data analysis, develop dashboards/reports, and ensuring the data are made available on timely basis. You will work with various Infrastructure teams to understand their pain points, problem areas, data types, processes and gain insights into their data for integration and quality measurements. You will collaborate with other teams in IT to align standards and methods.

With your findings, you will influence many of the recommendations our users will need to positively change their ways of workings and enhance performance.

You will be provided with trainings on the standard tools used in our company.

Primary activities/responsibilities

• Perform data management & integration, data discovery, data mining, statistical/descriptive/predictive analysis
• Design and implement user-centric reports and performance measurement dashboards with insightful information for decision making
• Perform integration and cross-analysis of multiple datasets to extract further insights into infrastructure service performance, identify gaps and trends to facilitate management decision making
• Apply UX design to improve dashboard storytelling, simplify complexity of data through good data visualization
• Report metrics and KPI/SLAs to include quality measurements, predictive analysis and cost per unit measurements
• Work with infrastructure SMEs to get updates, report resource accounting and automate manual or repetitive tasks
• Participate in workshops including ideation, requirements gathering, alignment between IT strategy and information requirements, data discovery and preparation, data modelling or data mining, and providing inputs into assessing options
• Documentation, defining workflows and processes
• Conduct cost benefit analysis and measure cost per unit of infrastructure stacks for cost effectiveness
• Conduct process assessments and design workflows to improve customer experience and infrastructure service delivery
• Dashboard maintenance – operation and development based on demanded functionality
• Identify manual repetitive reporting efforts and creating automated reports

Qualifications, Skills & Experience

Skills & Experience

• Skills in SQL, Phyton, data management, data integration and data visualization
• Experience in IT datasets such as Asset management, Incidents, Problem, Change, Monitoring
• Experience in managing large data sets and knowledge of data science algorithms
• Experience working on IT infrastructure stack (servers, databases, storages, network) is an advantage
• Experience in data science algorithms and modelling is an advantage
• Experience in UX infographics design is an added advantage
• Strong analytical skills and comfortable to work with figures and numbers
• Responsible, resourceful, self-motivated in delivering results and taking ownership
• Independent, organized and meticulous
• A team player with excellent communication skills
• Willing to experiment, explore new concepts and tools
• Willing to travel or attend night teleconferences if required for business purposes

Education

• BSc Degree or equivalent with relevant experience in Computer Science, Computer Science Engineering, Information Systems, Math, or equivalent experience
