The Industrial Automation Manager is part of the HUB engineering function providing a broad spectrum of engineering services driving the strategic direction and ways of working closely integrated with and driven by the needs of the manufacturing unit's business and functional standards. These include asset care, process engineering, automation and control, capital projects design and execution, engineering risk management, and efficient production of utility services and their optimal consumption in the manufacturing units.


More specifically, you are going to be a trusted expert who will:

  • Evolve and maintain the OT cybersecurity strategy
  • Develop an automation roadmap for the region to increase productivity in synergy with the digitalization plans of the company

Lead the Control and Automation community in the breweries to achieve:

  • Strategic plan and standardized implementation
  • Translation of Processes (Brewing, Packaging, and Utilities) needs into automation “speak” and engage suppliers for best-fit solutions.
  • Asset management and Incident management co-ordination for AEI
  • Optimization of Capex portfolio and 3-year business planning with 8 years outlook for systems replacement
  • Cybersecurity, safety, and reliability of data and control networks in our breweries, operations, and the interface with IT, whose compromise could result in any or all of the following situations:
  • Endangerment of employee safety
    Violation of regulatory requirements
    Loss of proprietary or confidential information
    Economic loss
  • SLA’s with System Integrators and S/W & H/W vendors
  • Maintenance and calibration standards for all field instruments for site implementation
  • A Control and automation change management process was established, which covers all types of change in hardware equipment and application software.
  • Training solutions development
  • Cooperation with #d and IA team in areas of processes, security, segregation of duties, and automation projects
  • Lead functional development in local markets
  • Collaborate with other functions (eg Finance, #d, HR) in the progression of the OT strategy and reach alignment on overlapping systems or activities.

Lead the asset care community in AEI to achieve:

  • Maintenance policy and standardized implementation.
  • Asset care best practices that span the scope of maintenance defined above
  • Annual maintenance budget scrubbing to achieve best practice investment targets
  • Improvement of safety practices in maintenance
  • Integration of the problem-solving process into maintenance practices
  • Capability and training solutions across the scope of maintenance defined above.

Lead the Engineering risk effort across AEI:

  • Simplified audit process based on GLT.EN.PCD.00527 (internal standard)
  • Audit capability developed
  • Deviation management
  • Integration with the BCM H&S and Accreditation Lead AEI to ensure no duplication in effort but accountability remains in engineering,

Do you have what it takes?

  • Deep understanding of control systems and technologies
  • Deep understanding of the asset care process including spare parts
  • Understanding the TCO drivers of the underlying processes of asset care and C&A.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to engage, persuade, influence, and provide high-level reports for decision-making processes
  • Adept at presenting complex information in straightforward terms to a range of audiences
  • Ability to quickly understand the business context and establish solid relationships with business stakeholders
  • Ability to exercise initiative, think innovatively, and make well-judged recommendations
  • Effective at organizing and planning, self-motivated
  • Resilient with the ability to adapt to changing situations and reorganize tasks, people, and priorities
  • Fluent in English
  • Automation and Control (C&A) related University Degree
  • Working with FMCG automation processes for more than 5 years
  • Working in FMCG engineering management including asset care for an additional 5 years
  • Working alongside contractors to deliver desired outputs
  • Multi plant/country experience
  • Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a matrix organization
