Job Description & Summary

The Network People Team provides support for all human capital matters for staff reporting to partners in Network leadership roles and global functional groups across territories.

Demonstrates extensive abilities and/or a proven record of success managing human resources policies and practices, preferably within a professional services environment, including, but not limited to, the following areas related to the internal operations of a global network of professional services firms:

  • Serving as a trusted advisor to partners/leaders on all people/talent matters, with a focus on key priorities such as people engagement and career development;
  • Possessing the ability to build relationships with HC representatives in many territories to effectively execute HC priorities and drive the collaboration needed to appropriately support staff on Network teams;
  • Possessing the ability to help design, build, implement, and monitor forward thinking HC initiatives and processes on a global basis;
  • Possessing experience leading HC strategy through execution for a portfolio of clients, including playing a key role with aspects of the Leadership Development Experience, recruiting, onboarding, coaching, facilitating talent review and career round-table discussions, coordination of compensation planning for multiple territories, and driving relevant discussions/ actions around GPS results;
  • Leading partners/leaders in identification and management of high-potential talent and succession planning, retention efforts, and diversity initiatives;
  • Developing and maintaining effective relationships with staff with goal of understanding and facilitating career objectives and employee engagement/satisfaction such as career interests, mobility, etc;
  • Applying coaching skills to increase effectiveness of leaders and coaches in leading their teams;
  • Handling complex employee relations matters including consulting with senior HR professionals/Office of General Counsel (OGC)/Territory HC/ Ethics & Compliance as well as completing relevant offboarding activities ;
  • Having proven ability to manage work with a degree of independence, leveraging prior experience and solid judgment / problem solving skills;
  • Communicating with impact, including preparing or coordinating complex written and verbal materials;
  • Supervising teams to create an atmosphere of trust and seeking diverse views to encourage improvement and innovation; and,
  • Coaching and providing direction to less experienced staff, including providing timely written and verbal feedback.
